This image was really challenging to do, and also an incredible amount of work was required. The 3D object that is the main ship (actually a space faring giant battering ram) took me some time to model, then most of the work was 2D postwork on it. I really like this pic... and hope you'll like it too.

Part of this wallpaper has poor graphics
(I don't wanna say bad graphics).
But I like it!:D
It reminds me of the
good times or something.
(I don't know exactly what though)
The point is that that U put alot of effort on it and it looks cool!

Craig : Haven't played Free Space... but I took my inspiration (at least unconsciously) from Babylon 5's Vorlon fighters meets classic 80' Heavy Metal art covers.

I'm in two minds about this.In a way th red appears to clash with the rest of the colours which aren't as obtrusive, the the graphics on the rest of the ship are excellent!

It's your right man... but giving me "pathetic" for a work that took me tens and tens of hours of work is really not nice. Have you ever done art yourself ? Obviously not otherwise you would have some objectivity in your quoting, not liking it is one thing, giving 1 is another... just my 2 cents.
