Damn! This Egan is good !! What a move !!! Excellent!
I like the onomatopeias, but can't say if they are better as previous one...)
Two insignificant little problems:
1) Me thinks the way his right hand holds the sword is not good (last 2 images when Egan hits the ground)
2) doesn't he hits the daemons with the back of his sword ? It doesn't look like a 2 edged one (altough i'm neither an expert of earth or kyrian weaponry ;D )
Is he piercing or slicing?
Anyway, Excellent page, I love it!!

Thanks G'Kar. 1) Me thinks they okay... when you play tennis you change the handle pose within the point to get in better position for the next move. 2) He is slashing. But I can see how it can be confusing

Ok for the change of handle pose (sorry I don't play tennis :D ) but I still thing the thumb is not how it should be. And yes the slashing path is nice. Altough it anticipates the move (the swordis in the middle of the path, could be better if it followed it no?)
Anyway, as I said it's beautifull.

Gkar : I see things differently :), the light is the demons starting to cut in two, light coming out of their body... the path is the one of the actual swords :).

Gkar: I understand what you are saying about the slashing path. It should follow behind the swords. Right now it looks like the swords can be going either way since the path is on both sides.

This page is very good! But in the first frame, is he jumping so he's turning towards us or away from us with his head (and body)? It think that it looks like he's slicing the swords against us and on the backs of the demons, because of the slicing lines after the swords moving. but he have to be able to bend his arms from having his hands upwards and back without moving his hands out to the sides while moving back with the hands. isn't that a bit hard...? and in the first frame he has his right leg more bent in than the left. but in the previous page (i'm talking about PAGE not frame :)) he as his left foot more bent in than his right... is he bending his feet in different possitions in the air? I'm not an expert in manga so please don't think i'm stupid by asking my question... :-)

SuperWay : Thx. Well, he's slashing the swords from his rib cage to as far as he can in a X slashing way... The continuation of the salsh may be confusing here. Also you're right, dammit :), I was sure I drew the right legs and didn't event verify... so that's a mistake on my part... too late to change it now, will be more careful in the future. Thanks for noticing it.

I think the legs move between the page could be ok, but then in the second frame here-second pos from left, he changes again. Too bad.

Come on! With the time it took to do this page I had expected much better!
The character with the swords just seems motionless, like he just forze in the middle of nowhere. The whole motion does not even make sense! Not the way is was drawn anyway. You should look at those Japanese manga, the action is always very easy to follow.
And what's up with the funny English in your intro dude?

I'm happy you provide a new page even if you're not entirely satisfied with it (in fact you're never :D ), as you keep improving your drawing skills. I imagine how difficult it was to make the first frame, which is quite good. The next two are great.

Smooth moves, I hear what G'kar is saying about the hand but if you clench you'll realise that's the natural pose of the hand when clasped :)
Great work (as usual), although the path of the swords is a little misleading. I think it's because the sword remains within the swipe path. Other than that, its Excellent....more,more,more.

Analpen : This particular scene is an homage at Matrix and other Bullet time or slow motion shots ā la John Woo... and sorry but there's NOTHING motionless about the second and third frames... only the last page + 1st frame are kinda "froze in time" but it was done on purpose.

Nicely done Chris! Excellent job!
But I see what Stir Feld mean: well, I don't like the way Stir Feld put it, but it is hard to follow the action in some frame. It is NOT motionless thougt! But instead of 'just' adding the motion affect afterward, maybe you should 'distort' the part of the body that moves, to give a better effect. See what I mean? What do you think? See ya.

came across this page by accident and started to read your manga i like it it is pretty cool good story line the wording is a little corny but its cool love the art work the faces have improved alot background work is nice only problem is the characters look to separated from there surrounding in some of the artwork but don't get me wrong it is good work really good work especially for one guy

Wraith : Yes, but Laiyos mentionned that about 2 minute ago... the last 10 pages has been action and didn't take much than a 2-3 minutes in real time. Don't worry, you'll see the new characters soon enough.
