Exellent! The scene is cool, very much movie like; you can almost hear the sounds of the forest... Egan's design is cool, those green eyes give him a charismatic coldness, the belt and hairband red match is a good idea, and I like the stuff around the ankles a lot. Egan's lines fit the character like a (velvet) glove; the "unless of course waking up half the forest was your idea all along." gives us an idea of the lines we can expect in the future. Something tells me that strong in the Force Egan is... : )

It looks absolutely amazing! The second image of Laiyos proved to be very awesome. His armor detail looks fabulous, as well as his expression in the first scene. -- Then there is Egan. He came out incredibly well, and the green eyes with the lighter grey toned hair really gives the character a warm sense, so to say. Adding the red makes him stand out too, which is another great aspect, besides the humor/sarcasm I caught in his last words. Brilliant, as always Chris. Keep up the good work. ^_^

Thanks everyone :). I just saw that I forgot to color the drops of sweat on Laiyo's face in the first frame. I'll correct it when I update the next page (which is well on the way as I just started the coloring phase).

This page is amazing, Chris, one of your best so far. The drawing is fabulous, specially in the second image, where Laiyo's armour is just incredible. The introducing of Egan into the story is great too, as you plot his personality in just a couple of lines. Fantastic, Chris!!

Excellent work Chris. I relly like Egan, cool character. But It seems there is a bit of disproportion in the 3rd picture (hand and arm a bit small). I may be wrong.....
The light from the fire makes a very nice warm color. I like it :)

interesting. Not so sure your characters are your own ;) But. When you have the time. make one up. I did... i made a few actually you people see them every day. so don't put your hopes down on not making up your own drawing for your own character.... it WILL be worth it ;) good luck with the manga chris it's very nice and has a great storyline to it. Keep it up.

Actually by not colouring in the sweat it made it look realistic (if you are refering to anime that is). Otherwise, just add alittle shine and its fine. By the way, good job on the different 'camera' positions, now your showing off your characters a little more, much more affective to the story then faces ^-^

I love the effects and backgrounds.. The only thing is that you have to work on is drawing the characters' face. The 'Dragon Ball' effect you are probably going for is over-exaggerated as the eyes in a constant 'V' shape makes the characters look... well, weird.

you've managed to do something which i've only started my skeches on (im also creating my own comic)and youve' inpired me now more that ever.however try adding different types of eyes while being true to ur DBZ anime style.This would actually help u develop the depth
and defferenciate the charecters.I believe that u have great untapped pontential
